Adoption Overview
At Belgian Shepherds Rescue of Canada, our goal is to ensure each dog is carefully matched with the most suitable home. We take a structured and thoughtful approach to adoption to support both the dog and the adopter.
Our priority is to find the right match between each dog and their future family. Every adoption is carefully considered to ensure a safe, stable, and lasting placement.
Adoption Process
All adoption requests begin with an adoption enquiry form. Applications are reviewed carefully, and only selected candidates will be contacted.
If your application is selected, we will arrange a meeting with the dog and their foster family. This allows time to ask questions, interact with the dog, and assess compatibility.
Following the meeting, we consult with the foster family before making a final decision. We take the time needed to ensure the match is appropriate for both the dog and the adopter.
Adoption decisions are made with the well-being of the dog as the top priority.
Meeting the Dog
Selected applicants will be invited to meet the dog and spend time with their foster family. This step is essential in ensuring a suitable match.
